Fingers crossed that I can buy these jeans in every color for the rest of my life! My measurements for reference: 34" bust, 26" waist, 38" hip, 5'8" tall, 135lbs. I ordered a 28 long (aka 6) & they fit PER-FECT-LY! I decided to order these after I recently bought a pair of 505s at Kohl's in a size 28 regular in the color:
BUY NOWgrey lightning. The grey pair fit very well, but were a bit short & the fabric was rather thin & prone to stretch & snag. And snag they did, as we have a couple kittens that like to scale legs & they pull out little loops of fabric as they climb.. The GREY fabric is listed as 98% cotton 2% elastane. However the fabric on THIS pair is listed as 81% cotton, 17% polyester, 2% elastane, & I am MUCH happier with how this pair is constructed. They feel thicker & more sturdy, but still fit exactly like my grey lightning 28s.
So in short, PAY ATTENTION TO THE FABRIC CONTENT BEFORE ORDERING, as different colors sometimes have different fabrics. If you want a very lightweight stretchy pair of jeans, I'd say either go with the 98% cotton, 2% elastane, OR any pairs with viscose listed in the fabric content. If you want a slightly heavier-weight fabric, go with the 98% cotton, 17% polyester, 2% elastane.
