I rarely leave a review, but I love these jeans so much that I wanted to share my experience with others. For reference, I am 5 ft 3, 145 lbs and am a true pear shape. I wear a size 6 in tops, and 8-10 in bottoms. I ordered the Monterey Drive wash in a size 8 Short and they fit nicely with a
BUY NOWsmall gap in the waist. The gap was so small I decided to keep them and just wear a belt. When my husband saw me in the jeans, he said, "Wow!" As someone in my mid 50's, I don't get many wows these days, so I promptly ordered a 2nd pair. Because the 2nd pair I ordered was black, I decided to take a chance on one size smaller and ordered a 6 short. The 6 short have absolutely no waist gap and fit great! I can see how these jeans would not work for everyone, but I think if you are a curvy girl and are smaller on the top than the bottom, they will work nicely for you.
