So, pandemic that lasts 2+ years, tragedy in our lives, hitting the bottle pretty hard have all added up to 20 pounds of blub finding its way inside of my once 125# body. For too long I refused to give up the ghost and continued to wear my size 6 or 8 jeans. They rolled down at the waistline to accommodate my newfound pannus abdomen. Seriously, I could not even sit down it hurt so much. Then I had to get longer shirts to cover up my free fleshy parts. Then the angels sang upon me, and I found these high waisted jeans that even stretch a wee bit. Perfect. They look great (Hub said so) and are very comfortable. And I can now wear more tailored shirts that help camo my new friend. I even returned to the well and bought a pair of black ones.
