That said, this most recent purchase of 4 jeans (2 dark blue and 2 light blue) provided me with good price online. On the negative, the 2 dark blue jeans were damaged from the plant where they were made (does no one actually visually INSPECT jeans being made, sewn, packed and shipped????). They had very large horizontal light light blue stains across the entire hip and upper leg areas as when they were dyed the dye was not allowed to dry before folding and bagging for shipment!!! This happened to me twice. Amazon was very good about making right on these problems. Given my treatment and Amazon making good, I would buy Levi, again. Hopefully, Kevi will fix their QC/QA problem.

I I have a really hard time finding pants but keep coming back to this cut. I am a 5'3" 145 lbs gal, and I carry most of my weight in my thighs and butt- my thighs are 24" at their widest and my hips are 41" while my waist is only 30". I had a pair of these for years and love the relaxed fit, size 29 regular in this cut!!! I bought it again in a size 29, short, color ambiance which was as close to my old pair as possible. The fabric quality is different for the new ones, what I liked as the old ones was a slightly rough and stiff denim which provided support and durability to the pants. I feel as though the fabric of the new ones is a little thinner and more elastic, which I -hate- because now the support and smoothing are gone- however the fit is still very relaxed and flattering!!! and in fact 29 was too big for me despite having a 30 inch waist. I returned the jeans, but I will probably buy a size down and hopefully find them in a thicker denim.
